Danasia Bonner

My creative work as an artist focuses on visual identity, marketing designs, publishing, packaging, and branding. Currently located in Florida my passion for design began during my final year of high school, when I designed and operated a website for my DECA competition. From that competition I realized graphic design is all around us and understanding how to communicate visually has pushed me to study more about it. The terms 'create’, and 'design' have always created a sense of excitement and passion in me. I've always had a creative streak in me, which I believe is my strongest trait.

Working in Marketing, Film, and Graphic Design in high school and at Stetson University allowed me to experiment with many modes of communication such as social media, film, and print design. I truly loved my time with Cooper City High's Graphic Design team, where I was able to witness how various software programs were utilized to create designs for school organizations. My personal work is defined by patterns and polished designs that allow individuals to express themselves in a non-traditional way while competing with society's commercial aesthetic. My regular working method is around the creation of a design system using a color palette, typeface, graphics, and other generally applicable aesthetics aimed toward my intended audience to properly represent the client firm.

My goal with all my designs is to create a style that continually elicits thoughts of warmth, dependability, and honesty. I aspire create concepts that are clear and concise enough to extend beyond the design's platform. The designs I make strive to establish new forms and spaces of real- world concepts to help individuals and companies move into the target market. My current project involves a startup website for a fiction online store targeting a youthful audience with a modern feel, as the firm heavily combines similar thoughts and concepts into their own product designs. The website attempts to establish a fresh progressive style for online shopping that is appropriate for the average online customer.
